Obituary of Brenda Faith Korpi

Brenda Faith (Galusha) Korpi Dublin, NH- Brenda Faith Korpi (Galusha) passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband, children and granddaughter at her home in Venice, Fl on February 17, 2024. Born on August 15, 1940 in Waltham, MA. She was 83 years old. Brenda grew up around Boston, MA graduating from Lynn English High School in 1958. She then became a secretary for the Prudential Insurance Company in Boston where she met her first husband Russell F. Richardson and they had three children.

The family moved to Daytona Beach, Fl in 1967 where they started several businesses. Another move brought them back to Vermont for several years and Brenda settled in Keene and eventually Dublin, NH. There she met and married Leonard F. Korpi who through Chrysler Corporate events traveled the world and enjoyed 44 wonderful years together. In addition to Brenda's love of travel she enjoyed studying family genealogy taking several courses at Keene State College. She was a member of the local Garden Club, Historical Society, Red Hat Society and Daughter's of the American Revolution. Brenda loved her flower gardens, reading and playing golf.

Brenda is survived by her husband Leonard, her children Wendy Fortney (James) of Genoa, WV, Mark G. Richardson of Venice, FL and Michael J. Richardson of Pittsford, VT. Her sister Judith Cooper (Donald) of Arundel, ME. Nephew Steven Cooper of Shoreline , WA. Also her grandson's Eric C. Meador (Brelee) of Bastrop, TX, Brian C. Meador of Round Rock, TX, and a granddaughter Meghan M. Richardson of Lakeland, FL.

One great grandson Wyatt Meador of Bastrop, TX.

She is predeceased by her parents Fred and Virginia Galusha.

A Celebration of Life will be held this summer in New Hampshire.
