Obituary of Joshua Ryan Ligiecki

Joshua Ryan Ligiecki, passed away Wednesday January 24, 2024, at age 37.

Josh was Born September 30, 1986, in Halfmoon, NY to Gina Ryan Prince (Michael) of Port Charlotte, FL and Ted Ligiecki (Julie)from Upstate, NY.

Josh Formerly lived in Porter Corners, NY as well as Glens Falls, NY in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains where he loved hiking, camping and extreme winter camping as well as avidly studied survival skills for the wilderness including plant identification. 

Josh loved snowboarding with his siblings or kayaking down the river. Josh was a professional glass artist and formerly worked for Manifest Glass Works, He also worked as a forklift operator. 

Josh was meticulous and precise in everything he did. He was Smart, funny, sensitive, loving, curious, adventurous and inventive. Josh was a Graduate of Corinth High School in Corinth NY. 

Josh was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Theodore and Norma Ligiecki  from Niskayuna, NY as well as 2 maternal grandfathers, Richard Meuse and Harland Robinson. 

Josh is survived by his maternal grandmother Mary Meuse Robinson of Port Charlotte, FL, his brother Josiah Ligiecki of Asheville, NC, his brother Aaron Prince (Angie) of Fryeburgh, ME, his sister Jennessa Prince-Frost (Doug) of Lake George, NY, his sister Toviah Prince (Micheal) of Siesta Key, FL, and his brother Noah Prince (Jessica) of Los Angeles, CA. As well as Aunt Laura Ligiecki Wright, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends who are like family.

We will be bidding farewell to Josh at Farleys funeral home 5900 S Biscayne Dr, North Port, FL. Everyone is welcome to come pay their respects from 2pm-4pm. 

We will have a celebration of life the following day at Nokomis Beach at the pavilion starting at Noon, look for the balloons.
