Obituary of John Mathew Ehlen
John M. Ehlen, age 85, of Manasota Key, Florida, passed away on December 24, 2023. He was born on April 6, 1938 in Wadena, Minnesota and was a Chemical Engineer with Koch Industries for 35 years. John was a volunteer for Suncoast Humane Society for 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kay Ehlen; son, Tim (Stephanie) Ehlen and their three children, Kacey 18, John 16, Addy 12 and a daughter, Sarah (Robert) Gilbreath and their three children, Margaret 16, Lucy 14, and Nicky 11. Memorial contributions may be made to an animal rescue of your choice. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
