Obituary of Sidney M Yawn Jr.

Sidney M. Yawn Jr. also known as “BeBo”, 65 of North Port, FL passed away on April 16, 2023. He was born on February 12, 1958 in Quincy, FL to his parents Sidney and Shirley Smith Yawn. Sidney served as a Public Service Aide for Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office and worked as a Barber in Venice, FL for over 18 years. He was a member of the Englewood Gun Club. Sidney loved woodworking, guns and reloading, and his grandkids.

Sidney is survived by his wife, Mildred “Millie” S. Yawn of North Port, FL; daughter, Michall Bushell of North Port, FL; son, Terry Smallwood of Englewood, FL; his mother, Shirley Yawn of Venice, FL; two sisters, Martha Heath of Venice, FL and Molly Smith of AZ; nephew, Chris Heath of Tampa, FL; brother in law, Tim Heath of Venice, FL; daughter in law, Deb Smallwood of Venice, FL; and  grandchildren, Brent, Emerson, Tristany, and Ian Smallwood of Venice, FL.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Farley Funeral Home in North Port is in charge of arrangements. There will be a public visitation held on Wednesday April 26, 2023 from 4-6pm at Farley Funeral Home in North Port (5900 S. Biscayne Drive, North Port, FL 34287).
