Obituary of John J Fierbaugh

John J (Joe) Fierbaugh entered his eternal home on March 31, 2023.

Joe was born in Charleston, WV on October 21, 1936 to Clayton and Lahoma Firebaugh who precedes him in death along with is first wife Karen Fierbaugh and nephew Andrew Fierbaugh.

Joe was a Veteran of Air National Guard and WV National Guard serving 7 years.

Surviving are his wife Sandra Richie Fierbaugh; brother Steven Fierbaugh; his daughters Tandance (Chana) Dixon and Jennifer (Don) Westfall; bonus daughter, Pamela Mater; grandchildren Courtney (John) Burgess, Tyler (Alyssa) Westfall and precious great-grandchildren John Masson Burgess, Hank Joseph, and Laney Paige Westfall; sister in law, Ann Woolwine; and many family and friends. 

Joe was a family blender to step-children, Bill (Angela) Lowman, Melinda (Don) Wooden, Lori Lowman, and Allison Underwood and their families.

Joe started his career as a machinist with Kaiser Aluminum in 1958 in Ravenswood, WV and retired in 1988.

Joe and Sandy retired to Florida from Point Pleasant, WV in 2011. They enjoyed extensive traveling, volunteering, and also dedicated their time to their Church.

Private services were held at Nokomis Beach, FL on the evening of April 3, 2023 and on April 4, 2023 at Living Waters Lutheran Church’s Memorial Garden in North Port, FL. Joe will be missed so much by his wife, family, and all that knew him, as well as his furry friends Bella and Beasley.
