Nancy Detert was one those rare elected officials who always made a decision based on thoughtfulness. Her integrity was unblemished. As a Sarasota County resident, I always looked to see what Nancy thought when a decision was to be made.
She was taken much too young and she will be sorely missed by all, but especially her 3 sons. Condolences to her family.
May she rest in peace and prepare a way for her sons and family to join her in eternity.
