Obituary of Brenda Lane Brown

Brenda Lane Brown of Venice, Florida died peacefully in her sleep on March 13, 2023 at the age of 82. Brenda was born May 16, 1940 in Confluence, Pennsylvania to Floyd and Mabel Davis. Brenda was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a retired art teacher and craft business owner. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and gentle soul. She loved listening to Jim Brickman’s music, attending arts and crafts shows, gardening, woodworking and keeping abreast of what her grandchildren were doing. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there when we needed her.

She is survived by her sister Linda Braun, 2 children Todd (Wendy) Brown and Sonja (Rod) Tarrago, and 4 grandchildren Levi, Kaylee, Braden, and Ian, who will forever be inspired by her legacy of kindness and artistry. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl Brown, and her brother, Terry Davis.

A memorial service will be held at Grace United Methodist Church in Venice, Florida on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023. The visitation will be at 12:30pm in the Chapel and the Memorial Service will follow at 1:00pm. Burial will be at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Fort Hill, Pennsylvania.
