Curtis Allan Perla, 83, of North Port, Fl passed away on February 27th 2023 in Port Charlotte, Fl.
Al was born in Sandusky, Ohio to Curtis & Lucille Perla on August 30, 1939. He was a 1957 graduate of Sandusky High School. Al held many positions during the 35 years he worked at the Ford Motor Company in Lorain, Ohio. After his retirement from Ford “Mr. Al” worked in the Erie County Juvenile Detention facility. Al was a Marine Corps veteran. He enjoyed boating, fishing, making wine and everything life had to offer. Al had a heart of gold he will be deeply missed.
Al will lovingly be remembered by his wife Deborah married 44 years, children Todd Perla (Brenda), Carrie Smith-Perla, Cheryl Cofer (Phil), Eric Perla (Susan), Nicole Goson (Kristoff), sister Eleanor Bovard and 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
