Obituary of Edith Mahl

Edith “Edie” Mahl, 99, of Port Charlotte, FL passed peacefully on October 25, 2022 to the Lord’s waiting arms.

She was born in Englewood, NJ to James and Antoinette Gragnano on June 5, 1923. Edie loved babies, animals, and all things sweet, especially ice cream. As a young woman she worked at Stouffer’s Restaurant before becoming a full-time homemaker. Edie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be deeply missed.

Edie is survived by her daughters Jeannine Mahl of Port Charlotte, FL, and Chris (Rich) Losert of Venice, FL. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Bryan (Linda), Kyle (Brandi), Brittany (Zach), Katie, Sarah (Jeremy), Emily (John); along with her great-grandchildren: Adelynn, Samantha, Nathan, Kai, Maddox, Kyle Jr., Braxton, Phoenyx, Harley, Savannah, and Margot. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Henry Mahl, her parents James and Antoinette Gragnano, and eight siblings.
