He was a wonderful man that knew how to teach and talk to young minds and let them decide things for themselves and feel more confident about their place in life. I have never forgot his wisdom, his teachings or his smile. My sincere condolences to your family. Rest in Peace Mr Watmough.

So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I have so many great childhood memories of Joe with my dad. Being taught to swim in our backyard pool, the Knights of Pythias Hall, harvesting pigs, dandelion wine. Many great stories about the 2 of them (canoeing the 25 miles of ocean to Block Island and getting lost in the fog). Joe left an indelible mark on the world! You are all in our thoughts!

So, so, sorry for your loss. I personally was amazed at the full, exciting, powerful life this man was blessed to have. Just a former student. At Johnston High...but truly loved and enjoyed him as my science teacher.
