Tom went on to further his education at Champlain College, he graduated in 1963 earning himself a bachelor’s degree in business and accounting. Tom was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend. He was always there for his boys, attending sports events and other activities.  He cultivated lifelong friendships, many lasting 50 to 60 years. Tom was never far from his phone, always in touch with friends and family. A very social person, Tom never met a stranger.  He loved to sit at the bar and chat with whoever was sitting next to him.  He and Pat enjoyed hosting many parties for friends and neighbors.

Pat introduced Tom to the joys of camping and RV travel, crossing the US twice.  Upon waking in the morning his first words often were "Where are we and what are we doing today?".
