Obituary of Janice Faye Whitaker

Janice Faye Whitaker, 81, passed away in Venice, FL on May 3, 2022. She was born on October 23, 1940, in Cumberland, KY to Edward and Christine Palmer. She graduated from Hughes High School in 1958. She worked as a private nurse for the son of President William H. Taft.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents Ed. And Christine Palmer, son Jeffrey Whitaker, and sister Phyllis Belden.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, David Whitaker, son Chris E.  (Donna) Staggs of Merida, Mexico, daughter Rhonda Whitaker of Venice, FL, son David R. (Alexus) Whitaker of Spring, TX, grandsons Justin and Jeremy, 8 great grandchildren, and many friends and family.
