Obituary of Toni Anne Kilanowski

Toni Anne Kilanowski, 74, passed away on March 24, 2022, in Sarasota, FL. She was born on July 16,1947, in Detroit, MI to Ervin Nihranz. Toni lost her mother at a young age but was raised by Grandma Nihranz and her stepmother Eileen Nihranz (nee Mcleod). Toni graduated from Osborn High School in Detroit, MI. Her and her family relocated to Venice, FL in 1974. Toni worked at Anderson Electric as the Office Manger until retirement in 2010.  

Toni in her youth was very athletic, she was an accomplished water skier, bowler, football fan (Steelers), and backyard baseball player with her two boys. She also enjoyed boating in the Florida lifestyle. Through bowling, she met her current husband, Stanley Kilanowski, and they were married in 2005.

She will be remembered as an awesome mother, devoted and caring wife, loyal friend, and usually the life of any party. She especially loved her extended family and friends in Michigan and Florida.  She loved life and her two boys most. Toni was courageous, full of integrity, possessed mountains of character, and she left this world fighting until her beloved father Ervin finally called her home.

She is predeceased by her parents Ervin and Eileen Nihranz, first husband Larry Hendershott, and her brother Bill Greenwald.

Toni is survived by her husband Stan Kilanowski, sons Mike (Tracey) Hendershott and Jeff (Jill) Hendershott, stepsons Stan Kilanowski Jr., James Kilanowski, and Ray Kilanowski, grandchildren Ashley, Jessica, Kevin, Miranda, Cody, Kainen, Derek, and Mia, sister Judy Beller, sister-in-law Carol Greenwald, and many friends and family members.
