Obituary of Andrew Dare Blackwell

Andrew “Drew” Blackwell of Venice, FL passed away on March 8, 2022.

Born on in Croydon, England on September 20, 1946, to Patricia and Glenn Blackwell.  Drew graduated from Temple University in 1968. Where he majored in business administration and held an active role in the university’s Reserve Officers’ Training Corps program. Drew was commissioned as a 2^nd Lieutenant in the Finance Corps. He spent the majority of his military career in Germany. Upon his discharge from the Army in 1972, he accepted a position as an auditor with the United States Army Audit Agency where he remained until his retirement.

Andrew is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy Blackwell, and his sister Glenna McCue. He is preceded in death by his parents Patricia and Glen Blackwell and his brother Larry Blackwell.
