Obituary of Mary Ellen Morrison

Mary Ellen Morrison of Venice, Florida and formerly of Delevan, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 24, 2022. She was 91. Born on September 24, 1930 in Bennington, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Holmes. She was formerly married to the late John (Jack) Morrison. She was a Registered Nurse, who worked private duty at the beginning of her career. Later on, she worked for the Pioneer School System as the Middle school nurse. She was with Pioneer for 20 years.

Mary Ellen was an avid golfer, painter and most recently a dedicated garage saler. She was a loving mother, survived by her children. Loni (Larry) Titus of Honeoye Falls, NY, Leah (Tom) Fame of Salem, VA and Jayne (Martin) Kresinske of Venice, FL. In addition to her children, she’s survived by 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Titus, Eric (Lindsey) Titus, Ryann Fame (Ryan Humphries), Rachel Fame, Michelle Fame and Devon Bluse. 5 great grandchildren, Jace Bluse, Milly Titus, Kaylee Titus, Londyn Muir and Dylan Muir. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Sanford Holmes, Ward Holmes, Emerson Holmes, Olive Holmes, Carl Holmes, Ben Holmes, Rose Major, Donald Holmes and Bradley Holmes.
