Obituary of Donald L Bell

Donald Lloyd Bell, 81, formerly of Lynn and Peabody, MA passed away on the 9th of February 2022 while residing in the city of North Port, FL.  He was born in Lynn, MA on February 24th, 1940.  Donald was a graduate of Lynn Trade High School class of 1959.  He began his working career helping his father with the family business in Lynn MA: “Typewriter Specialists”.  Donald later assumed responsibility for the business and continued until his retirement in 2003. He was an active member of the Lynn Kiwanis Club and the Chamber of Commerce.  In 2004 he moved to Florida where he pursued his interests in: Harley Davidson motorcycles, camping, nature walks and perfecting his handyman skills.  Donald is survived by his loving wife, Jean, their sons Donald (Kiat), Kevin (Kerdmy), Steven (Heather), Cameron, and daughter, Karen, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brother, Ronald R. Bell, as well as many relatives and friends.  Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd E. and Violet A. Bell (nee LeBlanc) and sister Jacqueline Hollow.  

A celebration of Donald’s life will be held in Lynn MA, to be announced at a later date.
