Obituary of Kenneth A. Cook

Kenneth A. Cook, age 41, of Venice, FL died on September 23, 2011. He was born in Panama City, FL, on April 8, 1970 and returned to Florida from Indianapolis 2 years ago. He and his wife Ami were the owners of Caring Palms LLC Venice. Ken was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. He was a favorite among his siblings, and they often turned to him for advice. Ken enjoyed making people laugh and seeing others happy. He loved the Florida lifestyle, taking advantage of the nature, the beach, and scuba diving whenever he could. Ken also stayed active at his church, Trinity United Methodist, particularly in the food pantry. Surviving family members include his wife, Ami; daughter Brianna and son Jake; step son Zachary Fletcher of Indianapolis; brother Cory (Jill) Cook; sisters Deana Cook and Jana Risemas (Cory), all of Elkhart, IN; and mother, Susan Cook of Venice. Ken was predeceased by his father, Dean. AThe family wishes to extend a special “Thank You” to the Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit at Venice Regional Hospital for all the care and comfort they provided.
