Obituary of Carol Catherine Horton

After a long battle with cancer, Carol went to be with her Lord on Wed., January 11, 2006 in Pearland, Texas. She was born May 15, 1938 in Brooklyn and lived the last 23 years in Venice, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents Vincent Gallo and Rita Carberry, daughter Tammie Board and son Stephen Board. She is survived by her sons Stanley Board, Jr. & Vincent Board; daughter Michelle Board; step daughter Karina Parmenter; sister Peggy Holsapple; several grandchildren; one great grandchild and several other family members. She is also survived by numerous friends, who lovingly and generously gave so much of their own lives to extend a hand when needed. A Gathering of Family of Friends will be held at Farley Funeral Home, Venice, FL, on Thursday, January 26, 2006 from 4PM – 8PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at Epiphany Cathedral on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 1:00 PM.
