Obituary of Margaret Louise Rockey

Margaret Louise Rockey passed away on February 8, 2006, she was 90 years old. Born March 31, 1915 in Elmira, NY, she came to Venice from Fairport, NY in 1978. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, painted oil paintings, and loved sewing. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Margaret is survived by her husband of 66 years, James A. Rockey of Venice, FL; two daughters, Marilyn Langevin of Pittsburg, PA, and Carol Van Horn of Waterloo, NY; two grandchildren, Peter Van Horn of Lexington, KY, and Carrie Van Horn of Chicago, IL. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34238, or Trinity Presbyterian Church, 4365 State Road 776, Venice, FL 34293.
