Obituary of Ruth W. Burns

Ruth W. Burns, age 85, died at her Venice home on February 9, 2006. She was born in Millersville, MD on August 6, 1920, and moved to Venice 30 years ago. She was the owner of several restaurants in Maryland. She was a member of the Colonial Baptist Church in Venice. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert, of Venice; daughters Catherine Care of Sarasota, Elizabeth Bombardier of Sarasota; sons Richard of Arcadia and William E. of Spring Hill, TN; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be on Monday, February 13th, 10:30 AM at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Interment will follow at Venice Memorial Gardens. Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
