Obituary of Alton Kent Clement

Alton Kent Clement, 80 of Venice, Fl died February 16, 2006. He was born May 18, 1925 in Durant, Oklahoma. Mr. Clement moved to Florida in 1986 from Bentonville, Arkansas. He was a Professor at the University of Virginia, where he taught Architecture and City Planning. Mr. Clement retired from the field of Architecture and City Planning in 1989. Mr. Clement was an avid Sailor. He enjoyed painting, traveling and was a patron of the arts. He is survived by his loving wife Edna of Venice, FL; 2 daughters Kerry (Tim) Sherrill of Moncure, NC & Kelly Clement of Moncure, NC; son David (Helen) Clement of Seattle, WA; sister Nancy Clement of Antigua Guatemala; brother Ed Clement of Rogers, Arkansas.
