Obituary of Thelma P. Krager

THELMA P. KRAGER, 87, died February 25, 2006. She was born on April 15, 1918 in Philadelphia and came to Venice in 1978 from Needham, Massachusetts. A graduate of Temple University she taught school and worked as a Home Economist for International Harvester and Ocean Spray. A past president of her P.E.O. chapter, she was a member of the South Venice Yacht Club, The College Club, and the Luvs of the Venice Shrine Club. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, George; a daughter, Carolyn (Warren) Comstock of Lake Forest, Illinois; two grandsons, Read (Kimberly) Comstock of Austin, Texas and Kevan (Catherine) Comstock of Chicago, Illinois; and a brother, Donald Price of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Her son, George Bruce Krager preceded her in death. Inurnment in Massachusetts will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1230 Tuttle Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34239.
