Obituary of John Darby Taylor

John Darby Taylor, age 89, of Venice, died on February 26, 2006. He was born August 16, 1916 in St. Louis, MO and moved to the area in 1980 from Southfield, MI. He was Vice-President of Sales for McCord Heat Transfer Division of Ex-Cello Corporation. He was a member of Epiphany Cathedral and was an Army Captain in WWII, serving in the Pacific Theatre. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Merle of Venice; a brother, F. Roeder Taylor of Venice; sisters, Elise J. Moor of St. Ann, MO and Dorothy Gerard of Venice, along with several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Epiphany Cathedral.
