Obituary of Joseph B. Shuhy

Joseph B. Shuhy, 82, of Venice, FL died on February 26, 2006 at the Life Care Center in Sarasota, FL. He was born on May 8, 1923 in Greenwich, CT. He moved to Venice in 1987 from Rock Hill, SC. He worked as an engineer for Homelite in both Greenwich, CT and Charlotte, NC for over 30 years until his retirement in 1978. He was a U.S Army Veteran during WWII and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Greenwich, CT. He is survived by his children, Joseph L. Shuhy of Spotsylvania, VA; Lawrence Shuhy of Jamestown, RI and Jane Shuhy of Venice, FL; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Memorial Donations may be made in his name to charity of your choice. Interment will be held at a later date in Rye, NY.
