Obituary of Andrew Brawley Mills

Andrew Brawley Mills, age 74, of Venice, died on January 22, 2007. He was born in Ireland on November 24, 1932, and came to Venice in 1967 from Kearny, NJ. He was a truck driver for United Van Lines and also the owner of the Village Bar in Venice. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge, and the Masonic Lodge. Surviving family members include his sons John Mills, of Venice, George Mills of Mesa, Arizona, and Edward Mills of Venice; daughters Isabella Dietrich of Venice, and Andrea Mills, also of Venice; sisters Kathleen Sands and Martha McDermott, both of New Jersey; and brother George Mills of New Jersey; and 13 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25th from 6 – 8 PM at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. A memorial service will be on Friday, January 26th, 1 PM at Farley Funeral Home, with inurnment to follow at Venice Memorial Gardens.
