Obituary of Thomas S. Cobb

Thomas S. Cobb, age 76, of Venice, died after a short illness on January 27, 2007. He was born in Medford, MA, and came to Venice 14 years ago from Framingham, MA. He was a graduate of the Massachusetts State Police Academy, and served as Captain of the Framingham Police Department, retiring after 30 years. Mr. Cobb was also a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Air Force. He enjoyed golfing and gardening. Surviving family members include his wife of 55 years, Lois, of Venice; sons Edmund Cobb and his wife Shirley of Kenosha, WI, and Allen Cobb of Sandwich, MA; daughter Diana Montalbano of Framingham, MA; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many beloved friends. Services will be held in Massachusetts.
