Obituary of Elton W. Schoff

Elton W. Schoff, age 79, of Venice, FL died on January 28, 2007. He was born in Syracuse, NY on May 26, 1927, and came to Venice 15 years ago. He was the owner/operator of the Better Shade Shop in Syracuse. He was a 59 year life member of the American Legion, and a member of the Moose Lodge. Surviving family members include his son, Gary, of Virginia, grandsons Michael G. of Venice, FL, and Gary, Jr. of Cleveland, NY; and granddaughter Angela Balitz, also of Cleveland, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emelia and Leon Schoff, and by his wife, Arlene. Visitation will be from 10 – 11 AM, Saturday, February 3, 2007 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 at Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel.
