Bob, I was saddened to hear that your earthly life ended so suddenly. You are now bathed in peace. I pray for heavenly peace and comfort for Linda and Sandra and all the family. Bob, I met you over twenty years ago. Although I was only around you a handful of times, the most memorable was last May when Linda and I visited you and Doris in Venice for four days. We laughed frequently and enjoyed great food together at your favorite beachside restaurants. You reminisced often about earlier adventures of fishing, searching the beaches for sharkï

On behalf of our entire family, I want to express sincere gratitude to Sandra and Jim Murman for all their support and generosity shared with my father and his wife Doris for so many years. You always remembered to include them in so many holidays and special events. Dad really cherished them. In that same spirit, we will honor you Dad by continuing the annual traditions and gatherings of your extended family. I will miss you always. With all my love, Linda

As a friend of Jennifer's, I've never met Mr. Bowers, but from what I read here today he was a successful, driven, man who had a great impact on his family and his community. I'm sure he will be greatly missed by all. I am truly sorry for your loss

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my grandfather. As I reflect on his imprint on my life, several things come to mind: the beach, sound of the ocean, his plaid pants and pastel shirts, his gigantic smile and belly laughter, especially brought upon by my mother, searching for shark's teeth, Notre Dame, golf, please cash soon always written in the notes section of his checks, hearing the words I love you echo from my last conversation with him. I find comfort in knowing that he is in the midst of a joyous family reunion in heaven. I can hear the laughter between my mother and grandpa descending from the clouds. Goodbye for now, Grandpa. I'll miss you....
