Obituary of Marshall W. Deschand

Marshall “Marty” Deschand, 67, of Venice, FL died February 28, 2007. He was born November 23, 1939 Illinois. Mr. Deschand moved to this area in 1990 from Aroma Park, IL. He was employed by the Kankakee City Police Department, Kankakee, IL for 25 years, retiring in 1990, and worked at the Venice Fishing Pier Tackle Shop for the past 12 years. He was also employed by Health South for 3 years. Mr. Deschand was an expert on sharks teeth and loved fishing. Survivors include his wife Judith Deschand of Venice; 2 sons Joseph W. Deschand of Michigan and son Christopher E. & Tammy Deschand of Illinois; brother Willard J. Deschand of Venice; mother Alice Deschand of Aroma Park, ILL; grandsons Ben & Jack Deschand of Illinois. He is predeceased by his sister Trudy Dau; 2 brothers Melvin & William Deschand; father Willard Deschand. A Visitation will be held from 1-3 PM, Sunday, March 4 with a Funeral Service to follow at 3 PM at Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel.
