Obituary of Mary Angela Jaquith

Mary Angela Jaquith, age 13, a lifetime resident of Nokomis, died on March 18, 2007. Mary held a D3 Pony Club Ranking with the Sea Fox Pony Club for show jumping and dressage. She competed in 3-4 rallies a year, traveling around the state of Florida. Occasionally, she would jump blindfolded with no hands just for practice. Mary also had musical talent, singing soprano at St. Martha’s Catholic Church and playing the piano. She was a voracious reader, and she always had a book in her hand. Mary loved her brothers and sisters, and she wanted to grow up to be a vet and a mommy. Surviving family members include her parents, Dr. Michael and Debra Jaquith of Nokomis; brothers Mark, David, Stephen, John Paul, and Thomas; sisters Alicia Dalton and Andrea Gwaltney; maternal grandmother Lois Nellis; paternal grandmother Joyce Jaquith; 6 nieces and 1 nephew.
