Obituary of Marvin Clements Braswell

Marvin Clements Braswell, Jr. (Mike) of Port Charlotte died on Sunday, March 25, 2007. He was 59 years old. He was born in Puerto Rico October 13, 1947, son of Mary and Marvin Braswell. Marvin was an FAA controller who returned to the states then moved to the Panama Canal Zone where Mike graduated from Balboa High School in 1965. He served 6 years in the Navy and upon discharge, moved to Atlanta. He came to Venice in the early ’70’s. His passion was music, and he played in the Braswell Brothers Band many years. He was then employed by Hughe’s Supply, now Home Depot of Venice as Outside Plumbing salesman until his death. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn, and 2 sons Christopher of Germantown, Tennessee and Michael (Jeff) of Port Charlotte; brothers David of Canada and Ronald of Bradenton. Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 21475, St. Petersburg, FL 33742. Farley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
