Obituary of Iva Virginia Hemans

Iva Virginia Hemans, 82 of North Port, Florida passed away April 1, 2007. Iva was born June 5, 1924 in Jamaica, West Indies. She moved to the area in 1981 from Queens, New York were she was a Nurse’s Aid for Farrockaway Nursing Home. Iva was a member of the North Port Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by her husband Cleveland and son, Robert both of North Port, and brother, Ornel Smith of England. A visitation will be held for Iva on Monday, April 9, 2007 from 4 to 6 pm at the Farley Funeral Home North Port Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 12:00 pm at the North Port Seventh Day Adventist Church with burial following the service at Venice Memorial Gardens. Farley Funeral Home North Port Chapel in charge of arrangements.
