Obituary of Richard John Gardner

Richard John Gardner, 83 of North Port, Florida passed away, April 23, 2007. Richard was born April 6, 1924 in Crosswell, Michigan. He moved to North Port in 1991 from Port Huron, Michigan. He worked for Sears for 27 years until his retirement in 1981. He served during WWII with the United States Navy, He was a member of the Moose in Bradenton, Florida and Port Huron, Michigan, the VFW in Port Huron and was of the Catholic Faith. His is survived by one daughter, Nancy Groh of Venice, FL., one son, Terry Gardner of Gainesville, FL., brothers, Don of South Carolina, Robert of Marysville, Michigan, Thomas of North Carolina, Lawrence and Ralph both of Port Huron, Michigan, sisters, Pat White and Phyllis Schott both of Port Huron, Michigan, Carol Rock, and sister Joetta, 4 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, April 27, 2007 at 10:00 am at Venice Memorial Gardens, 1950 Center Road, Venice, FL 34292.
