Obituary of Jean Ihle Tworek

Jean Ihle Tworek, 84, of Nokomis, passed away on June 7, 2007. She was born in Chicago, IL on June 6, 1923. Jean served in the US navy during WWII and Korea. After which she worked as a nurse for 20 years with the Chicago Bears Football team. In 1975 she came to live in Nokomis and was the manager of the country – western band “Gatter Bill’s” for several years. Jean was a member of the American Legion, Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Loyal Order of the Moose. Survivors include a step-son Kenneth of Arlington Heights, IL; two grandchildren. Funeral services will be 4 PM on Wed. June 13th at the Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Burial will be in Illinois. Friend may visit online at www.farleyfuneralhome.com.
