Obituary of Mary E. Betty Carman

Mary E. “Betty” Carman, loving wife, mother and avid golfer, passed away June 11, 2007. She was born July 20, 1924 in Freeport, NY. She has been a resident of Venice since 1980, having come from Fairfield, CT. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Lewis Carman. Survivors include her husband, Mort; twin daughters: Betty Ann Copley Harris of North Port, FL and Susan Tregelles of Clinton, CT; four grandchildren: Elizabeth Ann Lombard, Richard Tregelles, Captain Matthew S. Carman and Danielle Carman; four great grandchildren. Farley Funeral Homes and Crematory is handling arrangements. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 3-5 PM, Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, June 15, 2007 at Christ United Methodist Church.
