Obituary of Patricia Altier Haimerl

Patricia E. “Aunt Patty” Altier Haimerl, 68, of Venice, FL passed away on June 13th. She was born in Youngstown, OH on December 2, 1938 to the late Dominic Altier and Minnie Wintersheimer. Patricia became a model with Rose Marie Bathing Suit as well as the Marshall Field and Sears catalogues for 15 years. She later became an entrepreneur at the age of 25 with her husband, they having owned 73 gas stations. Patricia retired at the age of 57, and moved from Chicago to Venice in 1999. Survivors include her husband of 9 years Robert; six sisters, Margaret Adams of Youngstown, OH, Carmella Nemeth of Ft. Myers, FL, Dorothy Moulin of Venice, FL, Elise Thoresen of Austintown, OH, Donna Lynn of Sarasota, FL and Rosemary Ferreri of Venice, FL; brother Michael Altier of Winterhaven, FL; step-children Jennifer Leahy of St. Petersburg, FL and David Haimerl of Bradenton, FL; numerous nieces and nephews.
