Obituary of Bartalo Barney Paino

Bartalo D. Paino “Barney”, beloved husband and father, passed away June 16, 2007. He was 79. He was born August 18, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY and has been a local resident of Venice for 28 years. Barney was a man of many talents and loved working with his hands. He was an amateur radio operator. He was a WWII veteran, having served in the Navy. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Marie; son, Ron and his wife, Carole of Daytona Beach, FL; son, Michael and his wife, Yvonne of North Port, FL; five grandchildren: Shea, Shawna, Carolyn, Van Ross, Ethan; six great grandchildren; brother, Joseph and his wife, Linda Paino of New Jersey; sister-in-law, Phyllis and her husband, Leonard Pampalone; four nephews and one niece. Barney truly enjoyed his family. Farley Funeral Homes and Crematory is handling arrangements. A Visitation will be held from 1-4 PM, Thursday, June 21 at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. A Memorial Mass will be held at 2 PM, Friday, June 22 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with inurnment immediately following at Venice Memorial Gardens.
