Obituary of Thomas W. Clarke

Thomas W. Clarke, age 76, of Venice, Florida, passed away on June 20, 2007. He was born on November 27, 1930 in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He worked for a crane company in New Castle, Pennsylvania for 27 years. He moved to Venice 16 years ago from New Castle. He played for the Chicago White Sox Farm League in Manhattan, Kansas, member of the American Legion and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan of Venice; sons, Greg Clarke of Venice, Terry Clarke of New Castle, PA; daughters, Christine Chill of New Castle, PA, Pam Bowers of Hurst, TX, Joan Mitchell, Germaine Reyes both of Arlington, TX; brothers, David Clarke of New Castle, PA and Fred Clarke of Brookville, PA. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation and service were held on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Farley Funeral Home in Venice. Burial was held at Venice Memorial Gardens in Venice. Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel handled the arrangements.
