Obituary of Ann H. Sypolt

Ann H. Sypolt, age 82, of Venice, Florida, passed away on July 5, 2007. She was born in Terra Alta, West Virginia on August 9, 1924, to William L. Hileman and Mahala (Plum) Hileman. She was recruited out of high school to join the Federal Bureau of Investigation, in Washington, D.C., where she had a career in law enforcement from 1944-1952. After having her family, in 1964 she continued her Civil Service career at the United States Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C. After retiring in 1984, she moved to Venice, Florida with her late husband Carlton R. Sypolt from New Carrollton, Maryland where she resided for 22 years. She was a founding and active member of the Fellowship Bible Church in Venice. She was also active in the Christian Women’s Club of Venice, S.H.A.R.E. Program of Florida and various civic affairs. She will be remembered by her many friends as a multi-talented friendly individual always willing to give encouragement and down to earth advise. She is survived by her sons, Robert A. Sypolt of Forest Hills, New York, Steven M. Sypolt of North Port, Florida and a sister, Peggy O’Bryon of Berlin Heights, Ohio. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 10, 2007 from 1:00-3:00PM & 5:00-7:00PM at Farley Funeral Home in Venice. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 -10:00AM at Farley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Venice Memorial Gardens. The family is requesting flowers in memory of Ann. Farley Funeral Home in Venice, Florida is handling the arrangements.
