Obituary of James David Steele

James David Steele, 44, of Nokomis, passed away on July 6th. Born in Marietta, GA on June 27, 1963; he was previously a resident of Seminole, FL before moving to Nokomis in 1984. He was a six year US Navy veteran, having served in the first Gulf War aboard the USS Coral Sea. He was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his mother Frances and step-father Lee Waters of Nokomis; daughter Sadie Steele of Nokomis; two sisters, Julia Charleston of Troy, MI and Rhonda LeBlanc of North Port, FL; brother Lee Waters II of Nokomis; four uncles, Harrison Spires of Greenback, TN, James Spires of Friendsville, TN, Bill Spires of Marietta, GA and Lonnie Steele of Maryville, TN; five aunts, Wanda Jean Keener of Greenback, TN, Dorothy Davis of Marietta, GA, Eleanor Kirkland of Stockbridge, GA, Debra Cable of Maryville, TN and Samantha Redwine of Lithia Springs, GA.
