Obituary of William Joseph Jarrett

William Joseph Jarrett, 34, died unexpectedly in Venice, Florida, where he moved in 2001. He was born June 21, 1973. He was formerly of Altoona, Pennsylvania. He played varsity basketball and graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1991 in the Honor’s curriculum. He attended Penn State University and was a member of the Theta Delta Chi fraternity. He is survived by his parents, Phil and Peggy (Spielvogle) Jarrett, formerly of Altoona, Pennsylvania and currently residing in Venice, Florida and East Orange, Vermont. He is also survived by a brother, Phil Jarrett, Jr., also of Venice, Florida; a sister, Mary Jarrett Wilson of Williamstown, Vermont; brother-in-law Andrew Wilson of Vermont; nephews Troy Jarrett of Altoona and Jude Wilson of Vermont, and a niece, Rachael Wilson also of Vermont. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday evening, August 1, 2007 from 6 to 8 pm at the Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel.
