Obituary of Lawrence T. Kervan

Lawrence T. Kervan, 92, of Nokomis, passed away on September 13, 2007. He was born in Gloversville, NY on October 10, 1914. Lawrence was the owner/operator of the Kervan Co. Wholesale Florist in New York, NY, during which time he resided in Scarsdale, NY. He later moved to Sheffield, MA, and began to live part-time in Nokomis for the past 35 years. He came to Nokomis full-time seven years ago. Lawrence was a Gun Club member in New York. Survivors include a son John Kervan of Mechanicsville, VA; three daughters, Pamela Franck of Osprey, FL, Pat Smith of Nokomis, FL and Louise Mays of Piney River, VA; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
