Obituary of William D. Edson
William D. Edson III, 81, Venice, FL died September 16, 2007. Born September 7, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Venice in 1993 from Glenmoore, PA, Bill was President of East Smithfield Farms Inc. and retired from Zausner Foods. He was Commodore of Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club, Beach Haven, NJ in 1971. Survivors include his brother, Lawrence D. Edson of Clover, SC; son, John P. Edson of Boynton Beach, FL; daughters Kathryn E. Borig and Victoria D. Edson, both of Southern Shores, NC; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Farley Funeral Homes and Crematory, Venice Chapel, is handling arrangements.
