Obituary of James Kasee

James Kasee, age 84, of North Port, Florida, passed away on September 19, 2007. Hew was born in Harlan, Kentucky on February 5, 1923. He was a service manager for the U.S. Shoe Corporation in Cincinnati, Ohio for 48 years and moved to North Port 20 years ago from there. He was active at the Sable Trace Golf Club and delivered Meals on Wheels to the North Port Community. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and served during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Juanita; sons, Jack Kasee and Robert Kasee both of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter, Linda Fredrick of Bowling Green, Kentucky and a brother, Eugene Kasee of North Port. He also leaves behind four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother, Bill Kasee. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 28, 2007 – 4:00PM at Farley Funeral Home in North Port. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice & Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34238 or o the Foundation for American Veterans, PMB 420, 16057 Tampa Palms Blvd., West, Tampa, Florida 33647-2001. Burial will be held at a late date in Kentucky. Farley Funeral Home in North Port, Florida is handling the arrangements.
