Obituary of Wilbur Rudolf

Wilbur H. Rudolf, 98, of Venice, formerly of Neenah, WI, passed away on October 11th. He was born in Chicago, IL on December 6, 1908. Wilbur received a BS in Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. For 30 years he worked for the Kimberly Clark Paper Company as a research engineer. In 1975 he retired to Venice. He enjoyed astronomy and jewelry making. Wilbur was a member of the Venice Mineral, Fossil and Gem Club, the Lake Venice Golf Club and was previously involved with Elderhostel. He was an active member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Venice. He was preceded in death by his wife Marion and son Keith J. Rudolf. Survivors include his son Wayne P. of Santa Clara, CA; two daughters, Judith A. Stratton of Venice and Penelope C. Rudolf-Grooters of Allenspark, CO; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
