Obituary of Raymond B. Bitner

Raymond B. Bitner, Sr., 83, of Venice, FL, formerly of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on October 25th. He was born in Mitchell, NE on May 17, 1924. Raymond previously had served as Vice President for the Professional Golf Co. in Chattanooga and had worked for the Toney Penna Co. in Jupiter, FL. After coming to Venice in 1978 he had owned and operated the West Coast Precast Concrete Co. for 15 years. Raymond had served as Director of the T.C. Jordan Professional Golf Tour. He was a member of the Elks, American Legion and of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Venice. Survivors include his wife of 61 years Judy; son Raymond Jr. and wife Janie of Knoxville, TN; two daughters, Carol Feldman and husband Larry of Roswell, GA and Judy Jordan of Honolulu, HI; four granddaughters, one grandson and one great-granddaughter.
