Obituary of Barbara R. Grana

Barbara R. Grana died Saturday, November 3, 2007 in Venice, FL. Mrs. Grana was born May 24, 1924 in Cambridge, MA. She was the daughter of the late Frank C. and Georgia (Trolin) Rohde, and was former resident of Woodbridge, CT before moving to Venice. She leaves a daughter, Cynthia Downs of Bluffton, SC and 2 grandchildren, Torrey Downs of Hilton Head, SC and Parker Downs of Breckenridge, CO. Mrs. Grana was a veteran of WWII, serving as a recruiter for the WACS. She worked for many years as a service representative at the Southern New England Telephone Co., in New Haven. Mrs. Grana is predeceased by her husband Waldo Grana and her son, as well as her brothers Frederick, Philip and David Rohde. She will be buried in the Old Center Cemetery in North Haven, CT.
