Obituary of Katherine Charlotte Stone

Katherine Charlotte Stone, 91, of Venice, FL and formerly of Indianapolis died at 8:10 a.m. Sunday, November 4, 2007 in Millers Merry Manor. The 1934 graduate of Tech High School was born November 6, 1915 in Indianapolis to Fred Weiss and Charlotte Aldag Weiss. She was a school teacher and a graduate of Indiana University. She was a member of the Zta Tau Alpha Sorority, the P.E.O., the Children’s Bureau and the Sunnyside Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband David F. Stone, her parents and one brother Carle Weiss. Survivors include two daughters Diane Keegan and her husband Jack of Marietta, GA, Judy Badger of Sullivan, IN, four grandchildren Emily Badger, Jon Badger, Jeff Keegan and Kevin Keegan, one great grandchild Addison Smith-Badger and other relatives. A graveside service will be held for Katherine on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Venice Memorial Gardens with Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10305.
