Obituary of Gisela Anna Dunlop

Gisela Anna Dunlop, age 65, of Venice, FL died on November 13, 2007. She was born in Amberg, Germany on September 27, 1942, and moved to Venice in 1993 from Winchendon, MA. Gisela worked for the Shawmut Bank in Winchendon and at the Boca Grande Hotel after she moved to Venice. She was a member of the Pinebrook South Women’s Club and the Venice Art Center. She immersed herself in her painting, always remaining a student and practitioner of art. Gisela will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother to her family. Surviving family members include her husband, William Dunlop of Venice; daughters Carmen Gilmore of Maryland and Dana Walsworth of New Hampshire; son William Dunlop of Massachusetts; brother Wolfgang Heigl and sister Traudl Schwab, both of Germany; stepmother Grete Heigl of Germany; and grandchildren Billy and Rebecca Dunlop of Massachusetts and Emily and Stephanie Walsworth of New Hampshire. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Epiphany Cathedral, Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 1 PM. Farley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
