Obituary of Ruth Margaret Gross

Ruth Margaret Gross, age 85, of Venice, FL , passed away on November 17, 2007. Born in Aurora, Illinois, she came to Venice in 1980 from Elizabeth, New Jersey after retiring as office manager of The Daily Journal, Elizabeth. She attended Rutgers University, New Brunswick, and Traphagen School of Design, New York City. A Red Cross volunteer, she drove patients to Kessler Institute, East Orange, and New York hospitals for therapy. A member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Sarasota, she taught religious classes at St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Elizabeth for many years. Miss Gross was the daughter of the late Etta and Louis Gross and sister of the late Howard P. Gross. She is survived by two nieces in North Florida, Karen M. Keller and Deanne R. Tailer; a nephew, Paul J. Gross in California; an aunt and uncle, Myrtle and Myron Gross in Illinois
